Seclusion.

Dear  ........(I just want to know whether you remember the name by which I used to address you, rather I should say, tease you,
so fill it by yourself)

You came in my life like a breeze of fresh air. When I didn't even know about who you are, you came to me to offer help, that was really sweet of you. Infact, that was the first time I actually noticed that there exists this guy who actually studies in the same class as I do. It was new class, so I hardly knew people there. Also, being the way I am, I hardly talk to others. I am not really a social being. Silence is what I prefer the most. My friend circle is small.I talk less but when I do, I talk and talk and talk. But with only selected person who are really close to me. Never in my life had I imagined that you'll also become the part of that close knit circle. You were quiet most of the time somewhat like me though. Days passed, months passed and our conversations began leisurely. From class notes to discussing about exams. From talking about movies to our favourite stars(By the way, I loved to tease you by your celeb crush's name and you used to turn crimson). From discussing about latest songs to our petty tiffs(about numerous things which might sound irrelevant to others). Well, most of the time you were the one who actually crafted such situations which made us fight for no reason, You enjoyed them, no? You did, I know! *wink* But, you know what, I enjoyed it too. I don't know when you became so much important to me. The things which we never used to discuss with anyone about our dreams and aspirations, we used to tell each other. Those late night discussions talking about our life goals and then saying, 'OMG! I never discussed anything like this with anyone.' Ever wondered why, why you told everything to that person only? By the time, I realised, our session came near culmination. It was time to bid adieu to everyone. Filling those slam books, writing messages on friends' shirts, that never ending photo session, pulling each others leg, all became part of memories which will be cherished forever. That last day of college, last ride in bus, that last sentence which you said to me still echoes in my ears. You were always concerned about me,how will I go back home. Who will come to take me? Perhaps, you didn't know but your nature was the main reason why I liked you. You know what whenever I pass by that bus stop, I'm reminded of you.

College ended and we became engrossed in our respective lives. We do used to talk with each other but eventually everything subsided. No more messages or calls; in the race of achieving your goals everything faded away. Friends became strangers and ignorance became friends. You know what kills the most, it's ignorance. If you want someone to vanish away from your life, you just need to start ignoring that person. You don't need to fight or say something harsh to them, all you need to do is just IGNORE the person. Ignorance is the best tool to eliminate people from your life. And that's exactly what you did. Bravo! Now you don't have a non-stop chatting machine who used to keep nagging 24/7. But before doing this to me. Didn't you ever feel the need to come and say to me, 'I don't want you in my life anymore.'? You never thought that way. You are so busy in your life. Ain't you? You are like the morning dew which disappears when sunlight comes. I guess you have found that sunlight which has taken you along with it for eternity. I wish I had turned back that day and expressed my feelings for you but how could I had done that because I myself didn't realise it until we were apart.

Well, now when it has come to all this. I just want to tell you, "I have stopped turning back to pages of my life's book because every page reminds me of you." I try to ignore those roads on which we used to walk together. I hate the places once I loved because they remind me of you. But, I want to say, a huge thanks to you for coming into my life and telling me, the meaning of life; when you were in it, life was beautiful but when you are not in my life anymore it's even more GORGEOUS. Thanks for teaching me that life does not come to an end when you loose that special person. Infact, life can be lived alone, on our own terms, like the way we want it to be. I am alone and happy. Nature is my best friend. Birds are my musical companions and I believe these feathery friends more than humans.

When you will get this letter I'd be gone very far away. I don't even know if you will ever read this. But if you do, I just want to say that, I have cherished every moment spent with you. You will always remain close to my heart. Wherever you are, I just pray that you stay happy. Don't let others diminish your dazzle. Always remember, that I'll forever remain with you as your guardian angel. Whenever you need me just close your eyes and you'll find me standing by your side. I didn't get the chance to say it when I was there with you but I'm saying it now, I LOVE YOU.

Hope to meet you in my next birth.
Until then bye!

Yours and only yours...... *You know the name* Do I need to say more?

Diwali #JoyOfGiving

DIWALI.... Well this word brings with it lots of fun-filled and happy moments, doesn't it?
I am sure it does. :)
'Diwali' the festival we all love to celebrate with our near and dear ones.

Diwali means shimmering of diyas, a cool array of lights, colourful decorations, new clothes, crackers, sweets and one thing which we all love to receive... the Diwali gifts. Aahaannn..!! There I got you.. I know you love to receive those lovely gifts and also you buy different presents for your beloveds too. :) And it's good too. That's a sweet gesture to show your love and care. But have you ever thought about the kids who never get to see even a tiny earthen lamp lit in their homes, forget new clothes or sweets.? There are so many people in this world who don't get to enjoy the way we do. I know we can't help them all but can't we do a li'l bit to help them? If each one of us lends our helping hand to even a single poor family in bringing joy in their lives then won't it be amazing. Your single work of kindness can bring a plethora of happiness in their lives. And trust me the happiness you get after helping someone is unparallel to any other act of kindness. When you are the reason behind someone else's happiness that feeling is amazing. If you can spend so much on your beloveds then why can't you spend a small fraction for the needy? I am not compelling you but just give it a thought!

So next time when you buy something, please buy some extra sweets so that when you stop at the signal and a li'l kid knocks at your car's window and ask you to buy a flower then please don't hesitate from buying it and also offer those sweets to that kid and wish 'Happy Diwali'. That tiny act of kindness will fill that kid with bundle of joy and you will also feel elated seeing that child smiling because of you.

Go to an orphanage, distribute gifts among the children, spend time with them, play with them, talk to them.
So tell me, won't it be a good way to celebrate Diwali?

You see there are so many ways to help people. Now I am not going to talk about it anymore I want you all to go out and do your bit. :)
Good Luck!

This Diwali let's celebrate "Joy of Giving".

Friends? No we are just STRANGERS

There were two very good friends. They talked, laughed at each other jokes. Stood with one another in tough times. But then life played it's trick. They both got engrossed in their lives so much, running behind success that they forgot to give time to each other. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, months into years and there was no communication between the two. One used to think, why doesn't the other bother to talk to me why should I always be the first. And one day when fate brought them face to face, they met like complete strangers not willing to recognize each other. When a third person asked 'Do you know him?' They both said together, 'No we are strangers." What an irony of life! Well, atleast even now they agree at something. But why did all this happen? What was the reason behind it? Well, it was the so called 'Ego' which didn't let two besties forget their last few years and enjoy their old camaraderie.

Many a times this happens with us. We forget the times we enjoyed with each other. Those picnics, that lunch we used to eat even before the interval bell rang, the times we played together, the crazy talks which we had. Everything just ceases as if it never happened. But this shouldn't have happened, right? We should never let our ego overpower us. After all, what are we without our kith and kins? Whatever we do in our lives is for the sake of our beloveds only. Then why does this happen that we forget to give time to those who meant so much to us. Don't you think that we need to priortize things a bit? I know it's difficult to do. But can't we spare just a few moments from our hectic schedule for ourselves and our people. It could be just a 15 second call to your mom, dad or friend. Or a li'l text like 'I miss us' will also do. (I'll say 'I miss us' because it's not about that single person but about the bond which you both share)

Trust me when you do such things, the faces of your loved ones will brighten up with a 1000kW smile Aaahhhh!! The best feeling ever!! When you see your dear ones happy because of you. :) :D
Tell me if I'm wrong.?

Okay, I will take your leave now. I guess this is enough for today. I have taken enough of your precious time. Thanks for reading. :)

Unending chain of forwarding and receiving texts which assure you of bringing good luck

Hello, everyone!!

I am so sure that just like me you also might have received messages saying that they will bring good luck to you if you forward those messages further. We all at some point of time receive such sort of texts maybe on whatsapp or via sms or a mail, through facebook posts or anything like that. We all go through things like these almost everyday. The people who create such messages try to play with your emotions saying that if you don't do such and such things then you will have to face some mishappening or even worse than this, some say, your mother, father or any beloved will die. They will bribe you in the name of God or your beloveds. Ranging from assuring you a good news to becoming rich. They will leave no stone unturned in compelling you to join that never-ending chain of forwarding all those meaningless texts. I don't know who has got this much amount of time that they happily create these false messages.

You guys tell me, how many of you have got your wish fulfilled by forwarding these texts. How many of you have got your love? How many of you have got a job?  How many of you have become rich? I mean, if any of such things were fruitful then what on earth are we doing? There is no point of doing hard work then. We all can forward these texts and get our wishes fulfilled. We can get love of our life or we can get richer or accomplish our biggest dream. But these shortcuts are not the path to achieve our lives different goals. If such things promised you a better life then everyone will stop going on their work, no one will do anything to get what they want. They all will simply send these stupid texts and enjoy their life happily. But life is much more than this. No one can rely on futile things like these.

All these things just create unending chain of forwarding, receiving, again forwarding, receiving and it goes on and on just because of the fear that if you don't forward these nugatory messages then you will have to face the wrath. As if seriously, if you don't do what they say then you will have to suffer. Come on,they are not God, they can't change you life, they aren't supposed to command you. All they know is to play with your emotions. And just because of our trepidations they even become successful in their plans.

I just want you all to understand these things. I know many of you hate this thing like me and even dont get trapped in these matters. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you all. I mean, come on guys, don't you think that we just need to get over all this crap. And to all those who are involved in this practice in any way, I just want to say, please, "GROW UP".

-- coming from a heart who is fed up of receiving such messages almost on a daily basis.

MEERA

Mrs. Sharma was sitting in her balcony and feeding the birds. This was her quotidian routine. Her grandchildren Akira, Riya and Aarav were playing hide and seek in the house. It was Aarav’s turn to find others. “Okay, I start counting now, 1,2,3,….” exclaimed Aarav. Riya and Akira were trying to find places to hide themselves. Akira entered her grandmother’s room. The room was well kept; everything was at its place. The walls were adorned with beautiful handmade paintings. Mrs. Sharma was very fond of handicrafts and her room was filled with many artifacts which she had bought from different regions of the world. A large part of room was solely dedicated to books. Mrs. Sharma was an avid reader. Also she was someone who liked to pen down everything related to her. Akira scanned the entire room. On one corner stood a huge bookshelf, Akira hid herself behind that. She was always fascinated about the books. She was so engrossed in checking out the bookshelf that she forgot she was hiding there from her brother. And then her eyes fell on the diary which she had often seen in her grandmother’s hands.

She tried to get hold of the diary but it was kept too high so she jumped to reach out to that but she slipped and fell on the ground. A shrill noise pierced through the house. Mrs. Sharma, Aarav & Riya ran to see what happened to Akira. She was lying on the floor. Riya and Aarav helped her to sit. “Oh! My child! Are you okay?” asked Mrs. Sharma in a saddening tone. Akira’s left leg suffered a bruise. Her grandmother immediately rushed to do first aid. She washed her wound with an antiseptic and put a bandage over it. “So, what would you like to eat now? Tell me.” asked Mrs. Sharma. Akira said, “I don’t want to eat anything. All I want is to know what is written in that diary. I have often seen you with that diary, smiling to yourself! So I want to know what is there in it. At first, Grandma was reluctant to tell anything but when all the kids kept nudging her then she said, “Okay, okay! I’ll tell come and sit.” So, all of them sat in a circle and grandma began her story.

There was a girl by the name “Meera”. She used to live in Dalhousie with her parents and two lovely brothers. Meera was a very sweet girl. She was the apple of her parents’ eyes and brothers’ pillar of strength. She was a very lovable person. Meera was a very bright student. She used to excel in all her exams. She was an ambitious girl and she had always dreamt of becoming a successful entrepreneur. She was pursuing bachelor’s degree in business administration. It was the final year of her graduation and she had planned for taking admission in post-graduation after it. But her parents had some other plan. They wanted her to get married. Meera’s parents told her that they have found a suitable boy for her and that they want her to meet him. Upon knowing about her parents motives, she was saddened. Her mother said, “Meera! You are my only daughter; I want you to get married in front of my eyes. Please don’t deprive me from experiencing this pleasure.” These words pierced her heart but she couldn’t do anything else other than accepting her parents’ decision. She was such a kind-hearted girl that she couldn’t even imagine to do anything which hurts her parents. She kept thinking about it the whole night. And in the morning she told her mom-dad that she was ready to meet the boy. Her parents were delighted to know this. Her mom hugged her saying, “You are our pride and we love you.”

All the three kids kept listening to their grandmother with complete interest. Such was the aura of the lady that whenever she used to speak, everybody used to listen to her without uttering a single word.

“The meeting was fixed.” Mrs. Sharma continued. Meera met Gaurav. He was a nice guy who was very soft-spoken. He was truly a gentleman and Meera started to like him. After their meeting she was satisfied that her parents had found a good match for her. Meera said yes to the proposal, wedding date was fixed. And Meera got married to Gaurav.

“Meera was a very selfless girl. She sacrificed her dreams for her family’s happiness.” exclaimed Aarav. “Yes! You’re right, Aarav.” replied Mrs. Sharma continuing her story further.

Meera and Gaurav shifted to the city where Gaurav used to work. She was very happy to begin a new chapter of her life. Everything was going merrily but then you see not everything which seems good on the outside is good from the inside as well. After few days of her marriage, Meera started to notice unusual habits of Gaurav. He wasn’t the same as he was 30 days ago. He used to come late at night. He was into smoking and drinking. His friend circle was full of atrocious people who were always drunk. When Meera objected to all this, Gaurav thrashed her. Such kind of confrontations became more prevalent. Situation was getting worse day by day. Then Meera decided to tell everything to her parents. She narrated everything in front of her parents. On hearing their daughter’s plight, her parents were very furious. They filed a complaint against their son-in-law. Meera filed for divorce as well. Gaurav was found guilty of mentally and physically harassing his wife. Meera and Gaurav got divorced and Gaurav was put behind bars.

“Good lesson was taught to him.” said Riya in anger as if Gaurav was in front of her she’d have beaten him up to ashes. “Yes, my angel he got a good lesson.” exclaimed Mrs. Sharma.

Meera’s parents brought her back to their home. She was left broken, now she wasn’t the same chirpy girl who used to live a carefree life and carried a smile all day long. She had become quiet. Now she kept herself locked up in her room. Her brothers and parents were concerned about her. They wanted to resume her life. Her elder brother suggested that they should get her admitted to college. So they enrolled her for post-graduation. Meera wasn’t ready to face the world again but her family members helped  and motivated her to begin a normal life.

“Such a beautiful family it was.” exclaimed Akira with a smile on her face.

******First day of Meera’s PG course at ‘St. Sebastian’s College!’******

“Excuse me! Where is the MBA’s first year classroom?” asked Meera from a girl passing by. “Go straight and then take second left.” replied the girl. “Thank you so much!” said Meera.
Meera entered the classroom, found a suitable place for her and took a seat. The classroom had many students. They were all busy in talking and sharing laughter with each other. Meera sat silently, the girl next to her asked her name, she answered and then again kept quiet. She was not interested in talking to anyone. Then came the teacher, he introduced himself and then asked everybody else to introduce themselves. Everyone gave introduction one by one. After all had finished Mr Parker began to teach. That day he had decided to analyze his students so he asked many questions. Most of the answers he received from Meera. Mr Parker was quite impressed by his student Meera. So, this way Meera started her new stint. Meera used to spend most of the time in studying and making notes. Ample of her time used to go in the library. She was not someone who would spent time hanging out with friends. All of her classmates used to think that she was arrogant and had an ego problem. But there was one boy who didn’t think the same. He had an opinion of his own. Somewhere deep in his heart he had this feeling that there is something else which had made Meera like this. From day one when he had seen Meera for the first time, he developed a kind of liking for her .

“What was the name of the boy, Grandma?” asked the li’l inquisitive Riya. “Oops!!!! I forgot to tell you earlier. Pardon me my little angels.” said Mrs. Sharma. “The boy’s name was Rudra.” she replied and continued the story further.

So, one fine day Meera was sitting in library making notes. There came Rudra, he wanted to talk to her but didn’t know how to approach her. He was looking here and there, trying to find some way. Then an idea struck his mind. He gathered the courage to go to her and said, ‘Hi’.

“So, did she reply back to him?” Aarav asked. Grandma: “What do you think, my boy?”
Aarav: “Amm… Meera was so silent. I don’t know whether she talked to him or not.”
Grandma: “Yes, she replied.”

Meera gave a blunt reply to him. Rudra said to her, “You are very good in studies. Can you please help me  in Financial Accounting? The exams are approaching and I don’t have much idea about that subject, it’s so tough! So can you please help me out?" Meera remained silent for a moment and then shook her head in agreement. She was always ready to help people that’s why she couldn’t refuse him. Now everyday for one hour Meera used to teach Rudra in the library.

As the time passed, Meera & Rudra became good friends. One day, Rudra and Meera were just chatting when one of their classmates came and invited them for his wedding. Both of them congratulated him. Rudra could sense that Meera wasn’t happy. He said, “Meera, can I ask you something?” “Yes, of course! You don’t need to ask before questioning me.” she replied. Rudra: “What is it, that troubles you so much? Why are you always so silent? Why don’t you smile? I know you can, I know you were not like this earlier then what made you like this.” Meera was someone who didn’t open to anyone so easily. But Rudra was her good friend so she told him everything. Meera: “You want to know everything, right?” Rudra: “Yes, I want.” A moment of silence then Meera answered. “Three months ago, I got married to a boy. Earlier he seemed to be a gentleman. But he wasn’t the same as he looked. He was a spoilt brat, a drunkard, a gambler. He made my life a living hell. I wasn’t the same as I am today. I was a very cheerful and fun-loving girl. But that devil, he snatched away all my happiness. I loved him but all he gave me was hatred. I got divorced from him. But all the wounds which he has given to me are all afresh in my heart. I don’t trust men now. I don’t believe in the concept of marriage. I hate that phase of my life. I wish I could erase that part of my life.”

Having said this, Meera burst into tears. Rudra was shocked and angry after knowing the truth. At the same time he was feeling sorry because he made her best friend cry. He wiped her tears and calmed her down. It was evening so they both returned to their homes.

The next day, they both were sitting in the cafeteria when Rudra expressed her feelings in front of her, it wasn’t a very cheesy kind of proposal. It was just so simple and sweet. Meera had to some extent anticipated this. She was left numb. She didn’t know how to react. She was happy and sad at the same time. Meera asked him, “Are you okay? What made you say all this? After knowing everything about me, you are saying this to me. Have you taken leave of your senses? You can’t love me. You know I am not ready for all this. You know my condition.”

But Rudra knew very well what he said and he was firm in his decision. He said, “Yes, I LOVE YOU, I know what I am saying.” Meera didn’t listen to him anymore and she went away. She reached home and that whole night she was thinking about Rudra. She knew that Rudra was the one whom she had always dreamt about. He was nice, caring, sweet, a good listener, motivator, someone who respected women a lot and a person with a golden heart. The next day when Meera came to college, her eyes were trying to find Rudra everywhere but she didn’t find him. Then she went to the cafeteria where they both used to sit. She sat there and a waiter walked upto her and handed a letter to her. The letter read, “I am not expecting you to say that you love me too but I want to tell you that you are very precious to me. Your smile means the world to me. I want that smile to adorn your face forever. If I say, ‘I Love You’ then I really mean it. I don’t care what your past was. I just believe in present and my present is ‘You’. All I know is, from the day I saw you for the first time, I fell for you. I knew you were the one for me. You are simple, elegant, intelligent, sensible, helping and above all my kind of person who understands me more than anyone else. I love you, Meera. For me you are my ‘Guardian angel’. The moment you entered my life I got transformed into a better person, even my family members have noticed this change and they are loving this new me. And all the credit goes to you. I want to live my entire life with you. Now, it’s your wish. Take care and keep smiling always because remember that there is an idiot who can’t live without seeing your smile. You are my oxygen tank and if it withers then I will also bid goodbye to this world. Yours Rudra.”

Reading this, tears rolled down her cheeks. A sudden outpour of emotions overwhelmed her. Rudra was hiding and watching all this from a distance. He came running.“Meera, please don’t cry. I didn’t mean to hurt you. Please wipe your tears." said Rudra, his heart sank seeing her sweetheart crying. Meera turned to him. She said, “You love me this much. You are the one who has given new meaning to my life. You have…” Her throat was choked she couldn’t say much so she took that letter and wrote, “I LOVE YOU MY BAG OF HAPPINESS”

Meera and Rudra got married after completing their post-graduation. Rudra started to work in a company and Meera began her own venture as she had always dreamt. Two years later, they became proud parents of a lovely son. Now, it’s been 60 years of their marriage. Meera and Rudra live with their son, daughter-in-law and three grand-children. They both were blessed with a sweet and caring family.

“Wow! What a sweet story! Loved it! Grandma, Is it a real story?” asked Riya and before Mrs. Sharma could say anything pat came the reply from Mr. Sharma, “Yes, it is!” “Oh! Really, Grandpa?! Who is Meera, then?” asked Aarav. “There she is, sitting in front of you.” said Mr. Sharma with a huge smile on his face. All eyes were on Mrs. Sharma now. J
“Yes, he is right. My Rudra is always right.’ Mrs. Sharma said blushing. “Awwh! My God! You both are the cutest pair! Our lovely Grandma and Grandpa!” exclaimed Akira

All the three kids hailed in a single voice. “LONG LIVE OUR DEAREST GRANDMA AND GRANDPA! LOVE YOU BOTH!” and “we LOVE YOU MORE OUR ANGELS” replied the grandparents. And everyone burst into laughter. Smiles and giggles filled the entire home.

LIFE

Life..... Too much complicated, right?
Sometimes it's exciting, sometimes it's dull. At one moment we feel like that our life is full of all smiles and the other moment we feel it is all screwed up and the person ends up saying, 'I'm the most unfortunate human who has ever existed on this Earth.' We often find ourselves entangled in the joys and miseries of life, so much so that we even forget to live life to the fullest.

We are so much engrossed to attain all the worldly pleasures that the true essence of life is forgotten somewhere. Yes, I know that we have come on this Earth with a purpose and we should be doing our bits to achieve our lives goal. I completely agree with that fact. But don't you ever feel that in the midst of dreaming about our future we are missing ourselves. Everyone's life has some problems. It's normal. Every human has some issues. But this is part of our life, instead of vexing about it we should take it up as a challenge. Show your life that you are a warrior who never quits. And also try to find happiness in whatever you do.

Do you remember when was the last time you played your favourite sport? So what if you are a grown up now, don your sports shoes and start playing. :)
Aahh!! So you used to be the star cricketer of your colony, right? Then go back to the same place and play with the kids there. I'm sure you'll feel amazing.

Miss the place where you used to hang out with your childhood pals then call them and ask them to come at that place. Tell them that you want to recreate the good old days.

Haven't talked to your childhood bestie since a long time. Then, what are you waiting for? Just pick up your cell phone and dial his number and tell him how much you have missed him all this while. That him that he is still your best friend and will always be. Someone who you can count on always.

Go to your Alma Mater, talk to your teachers. This step of yours will bring a huge smile on their faces. When they will see that their student still remembers them and cares enough to find out time to spend with them then they'd feel elated and blessed to have such a gem in their lives which respects them to this extent. :)

Visit an orphanage spend time with the little kids there. Take books, toys, snacks, icecreams, chocolates along with you for the little children. Talk to them, play with them. Help them. These kids need us to be taken care of. You spend so much money on yourself then why can't you spend on them. When you become the reason behind someone's happiness that gives you immense pleasure. Do it and mark my words this activity will change you as a person and you'll be transformed into a better person who is happy and satisfied.

Have a crush on someone? Oh, yes, got you! ;)
So this champ likes a beautiful damsel.  But couldn't gather courage to walk upto her and tell her that you like her. Why is that hesitation there? Fear of being rejected?Come on, pal just rub off all your fears. Go to your friend and tell her that you like her. Express your feelings, tell her what does she mean to you. How much important she is? Tell her that her endless talks, her presence means a lot to you and you value her a lot. May be she says no to you and you should always be ready to face such situation, accept her decision may be that's what good for you both, but who knows what's on the other side. There might be a possibilty that she also had the same feelings for you, it's just that she wanted you to take stand. Atleast give it a try, so that afterwards you don't regret that you didn't even give it a shot.

When you wake up early in the morning, listen to the chirpings of the birds. Try to feel the freshness of morning. Go to your garden, walk barefoot on the grass. Feel the fresh dewdrops. Listen to the music of nature, bees humming, sparrows chirping, cuckoo singing its melodious songs, observe the butterflies fluttering over the flowers. Take a deep breath, the morning air is so pure that it rejuvenates the entire body and freshens up the mind and soul.

Have you ever stepped out when it is raining? Not yet!? When it is raining, come out, take the rain drops in your hand, feel them, rub them on your face. That water is so cold and pure. Enjoy it. Dance in the rain like you used to do it as a kid. Let off all your worries. Bring out that 6-year-old kid which was long forgotten. Sing, dance, shout, play. Stretch your arms, close your eyes, your face towards the sky and feel the fresh rain drops falling on your face. Feel them. Enjoy the rain to the fullest. It will surely make you feel good.

Life is all about how you see it. You just need to learn how to extract happiness from different situations. "Eat, Learn, Laugh, Help, Live." After all "YOLO - You Only Live Once" so make it worth living. :)

Reservation?

Tanya! Tanya! Mr. Singh entered the house calling his daughter.
Tanya : Yes, Papa! You were calling me. What happend?

Giving Tanya, admission letter of the college she always wanted to study
in, Mr. Singh hugged her. Beta! You always had a penchant to study in this
college. Now you can! :) I am so happy for you.

Tanya, overjoyed and shocked at the same time asked her dad, but Papa! how
is it possible? Earlier, the college authorities refused me admission
because we couldn't afford it. And now, what has happened? What's the
reason behind all this? (Tanya, as usual, ready with plethora of questions.)

Mr. Singh : My li'l angel, calm down. Have a seat and take a look at
today's newspaper. The most awaited decision that we were yearning to see
is finally here. Our Government has dissolved the caste based reservation
and now they have devised new norms stating that reservation would be given
according to financial condition of people.

Tanya was happy to learn this wonderful news. Her dream was soon going to
be fulfilled.

She was a bright student but because she belonged to a poor family and that
too of Gen category, she could not get admission in the prestigious college
from where she wanted to pursue higher studies.

But now, after the announcement of government's new policy she has got
admission in "Seven Oaks", a prestigious medical college. Gradually, she
became familiar with college. Though, doing MBBS is not a cakewalk but
Tanya was determined to reach her goal. She cleared each and every exam
with so much ease.

Now, five years have passed and Tanya has emerged as the Best Student of
Batch 2016-21. She is loved by all, she is her friends' pillar of support
and teachers' favourite (sincerity and punctuality are the two pillars
which define her, that's what makes her teachers' pupil). In the
Felicitation ceremony, she is being given the trophy for her remarkable
academic performance. Tanya, "Best Student of Batch 2016-2021". Her parents
are there in the audience. They are so proud of her, tears of joy flowing
down her mother's eyes. They were extremely happy. Tanya called her mummy
and papa on stage. She thanked them for always supporting her. Everybody
was chanting Tanya's name. She held her trophy high and the sound of a huge
round of applause engulfed the amphitheatre.

Everything was just so perfect. Then suddenly, Tanya heard something, it
was the voice of her mother. Tanya! Get Up! It's 6 o'clock. And then she
realized that everything which happened was just a dream. *Sighs* Damn it!
It was just a dream. I wish it was true. Why my life is so miserable? She
questioned. And she was back in real life which is full of so many
hardships.

                         *     *     *     *     *

Surprised? Liked the above story? You too wished at one moment that this
story should have been true! But the truth is something else. And we all
are very well aware of it. This term, the so called, 'Reservation' has
snatched the joys of millions of people. There are millions of Tanyas out there
waiting for an opportunity to showcase their talents. They need to be recognized
and given their due share of education and all basic rights.

I think it's time to revolutionize our rules, the dogmatic behaviour needs
to be curbed. It's time to set new rules which will mark the beginning of
a new era, a more pleasant picture of our land. :)

Dreaming to see a better place, a place which doesn't talk about caste and
creed, a place where there is no violence in the name of religion. A place
where the most important religion is "Humanity". :)

LOVE

Love... What is Love? How do you define it?
Well, each one of us have our own perceptions about love. I'd like to
express my views on the most sought after feeling.

Love is selfless devotion. It's not about likes and dislikes. It's about
accepting a person with his/her flaws and virtues. Moreover, it involves respecting and
understanding each other. It's about thinking about others' happiness
before yours. Love is boundless. Love is seeking happiness in others' joys.

Here I am talking about Love in general. It's not merely about two lovers.
Love is a universal feeling. Every living thing that exists on this Earth
needs to be loved. Even a sapling needs to be nourished with love and
care. If you water it regularly but you start cursing it then you'll see
that it won't grow. It will eventually die. But, if you water that sapling
with few words of love and care then it will soon turn out to be a
healthier plant.

Each and every creature knows the language of love. You communicate with
your pets, they know your mood swings. They know how to make you smile when
you are feeling low. You are connected with your pet by that bond which we
call love.

When a li'l baby is born, all it understands is that feeling of warmth and
care of her mother. The relationship of an infant with her mother is so
pure that there is no need of any language to understand each other. That
cuddle, that hug, that soft touch is what it connects a mom with her baby.
It's just pure bliss.

I believe that LOVE can do wonders, it can transform even an evil spirit
into a loving angel. As it was depicted in "Beauty and the Beast" too.

Love can move mountains, though not practically but emotionally it can, for
sure.

Love is boundless to any language.
It's an ultimate feeling which imparts divine serenity and bliss to our
souls.
Love is "Beatific"
Love is "Happiness"
Love is "Sacrifice"
Love is "Selflessness"

This world would become "HEAVEN ON EARTH" if we live with Love and Harmony
amongst ourselves.
